And the last couple of weeks, not actually for a good little while, I've been noticing how first Facebook, but then TikTok has been blowing it way out of proportion, in my opinion, prostituting it, just totally taking it to the extreme. Okay, you see acts of uh sexual violence against women, simulated. Okay, you see simulated rape, you see simulated sex, you see simulated rape of men and boys. I take back the boys. Oh no, mostly on TikTok. Okay, mostly on TikTok, you see policemen gunning down black men who are sitting there just reading the newspaper. You see pretty much well, that's really not news.

SPEAKER_04I'm sorry, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it goes on and on and on and on and on. And I guess what really got under my skin is the way that TikTok is just totally, in my opinion, made women look black women and white women, they just make them look bad, tacky, tacky.

SPEAKER_04I used to have this thing, you know, that when you see a woman, you know, they well well, let me put it this way I enjoy looking at a woman that leaves something to the imagination. I mean, you may not see it, but it's so simulated.

A few weeks ago, TikTok was sold. So they're not they're not Chinese based anymore. So, well, let me let me back up. TikTok, the app itself is still Chinese owned. Okay, but the portion that serves the United States is American-owned.

SPEAKER_02He didn't buy it, but I'm trying to think of uh it's it's several different consortiums and groups that did it, but it's it's American-based now. Okay, so the the whole thing where they they did a lot of the scrutiny of the videos and everything else probably has kind of sort of gone to the side, you know, because the same thing happened in TikTok, not TikTok, but X or you know, whatever the hell it was at the time, you know. So they've gotten rid of their compliance people. So there is no compliance right now.

SPEAKER_02kind of sucks like that. But the first thing that a lot of these corporations do, they get rid of the compliance officers. Because compliance means exactly what it is. You know, you're trying to keep everybody in in line, but if you don't want to, you know, do the compliance, this is what you get. So well, but it's funny that you mentioned that they'll do a certain amount of compliance when you're critical about something, so say, for instance, if you you know call out Trump or something like that, or something that's correct, you know, or a political party all of a sudden, boo, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down there, Tongo.
Social Media Violence And Sexualization
SPEAKER_01So what happened to the freedom of speech when it comes down to this stuff?
SPEAKER_02You assume too much. I I assume too much. You assume too much. But freedom of speech is only a fallacy.
SPEAKER_04So basically, it basically it's the wild, wild west, anything. Basically, it's it's the wild, wild west, just about anything goes.
SPEAKER_02No, it's a little bit of a depends on what you want to talk about. Exactly. Depends on the topic. You're you're you're now finding out that you know when the owners of TikTok are now conservative, they're conservative owners. So you can go in there and start Bad Mouth and 47 and Bad Mouth and anything dealing with the opposite side of the political political spectrum, then the right side of that, for that matter, and they will cut you off at the knees, you know, and and and and a lot of that is to do with the fact that okay, you know, we own it, we can do whatever we want to, it's our content, and we can take and do it. And so hence they've kind of sort of ebbed down the actual compliance.
SPEAKER_04Okay, but I'm just talking about the nudity, the violence, the stimulated rape. I remember years ago, a pastor he said he predicted that in the near future that men will be having sex with children and it would become accepted in society. At what point do we say enough is enough?
SPEAKER_02Well, if you've noticed too, if you you know, in a political climate, especially in some southern states, they've been trying. And when I say trying, certain governors, certain you know, districts have been trying to push the age of consent to 14. Actually, there was a state that actually wanted to put you to 12. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02So these are the days where you just wish you had never picked up a phone, or you know, you open up any applications, you've seen any news things and see all these things. The and and to Rodney's point and everything else, that he's exactly right. There are there's some things that are sliding now. There's a sliding scale to this whole thing, right?
SPEAKER_01So you know let's let's go back to this freedom of speech shit, which is the fallacy. I I I do believe it's there, but it's only for if you're poor, you can say what the fuck you want because they can't do shit into you, they can't do shit to you.

Ownership, Moderation, And Compliance
SPEAKER_01this is on the show, and I'm like, hmm, I can't, I can't believe it. I I never watched the show, but that's messy as hell.

SPEAKER_02This is going viral, and well, I mean, that's not freedom of speech, but it she said she said, but she she felt well, she said what she said and everything else, and technically it is a level of freedom of speech because she was able to actually insult her without having any repercussions, so you know it is what it is, you know. She got genuine's on it, and see, you know, like we do our podcasts and everything else, you know, we we we we know that there's uh uh we have to be very mindful of that because it, you know, it hits the internet. We are on the internet, and then one of the I say this that to say that there's a gentleman a few few months ago that lost his job because he was not even a host of a podcast show, he was a guest. Okay, he was on there, yeah, ripping and roaring and saying some things, flipping and flipping, yada yada yada. Well, internet does what the internet does, and he got back to work on Monday. And you know, last I heard he's over at the barista, you know, he's over at uh Starbucks. He they he can make a damn good caramel macchiato. Okay, so you know, yeah, but that's only part-time. He's only one part they didn't have full-time.
SPEAKER_01But now, what was his what was his position that he lost? It was an executive level. See, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, now if it was one of the blue-collar workers who said it, they could give less than two shirts. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02I agree on that. No, I can't say that because I've seen a few getting walked out because of Well, yes and no. Yes and no. There was a gentleman, you know, that a few weeks ago that ripped off, you know, you know, called the called the president some things and but 47 flipped him off. Well, and and exactly, but they also found that his he exercised his first amendment rights, right? Yeah, so now you know they gave him all the paid the whole nine yards on the flip side.

So this freedom of speech and and gestures is well, it's not even keep in mind too, and then to Dennis's point and everything else, and sorry for we got off on tangents and there. Way off, but that's okay. But a lot of it still goes back to what you mentioned about the First Amendment rights, you know, in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, all of them, they're all getting to that point where it's a sliding scale. Yes, it's it's gonna be a sliding scale. You can you can push it as far as you think you can go with it, but you'll be reminded quickly you went a little too far. Right.
SPEAKER_04Okay, now here's what really, really concerns me. Now, I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't concern me, but maybe it does. I find it interesting that no one's complaining about it, no one's talking about it. It's it just seems like it's accepted. I mean, TikTok, more so TikTok than Facebook. It is just pushing out garbage, garbage, American garbage. It is it what TikTok puts out there is a depiction of what our society is about. It is a violent, overly sexualized. It ain't even about well, you know what, it is it is about money, yeah. Okay, because the bottom line is they push it because they know people are looking at it. Yeah, okay. But at some point, somebody should say, Whoa, maybe we should dial this back because you're gonna like this one.
SPEAKER_02This is the part that that that's really interesting about what you're saying. Okay, now on the show, you know, and you're watching TikTok and all this other good stuff, you've seen some of the things on there. One of the things that they don't allow on there is what we do, we smoke cigars.

Freedom Of Speech Or Platform Control

And they're they're advertising all this other stuff on there, but then they'll take and you know, say, okay, you can't smoke your cigar on here. So if you're actually sitting back, you know, like if you want to just do uh, you know, a 30-second video and everything else, you know, hey, I want you to try this cigar. Okay, you know, guys, you know, you gotta love it. Boom, boom, boom. Then you sitting there, boo, the smell is good, this is that, and everything else. You can't you can't even inhale it. You can show it, right, but you can't inhale it. Okay. If I'm sitting there with him, you know, in my fingers, blah blah blah, whatever, I can do that, but I cannot smoke it. I might have pay attention to that more, you know, and I you know, I'm like you say you've been so dissensed. Exactly. You don't even know. Never paid any attention. Do a search for cigars. We do it, just just flat out do cigars. Yeah, yeah. And you'll find that they'll only do shows, you know. Well, they'll have people on there who are showing like humididors, you know, cutters and stuff like that. And then the cutters are subjective too, because if the cutter is is it's the one cutter that has like the the blade where you can visibly see the blade, yeah, you know, you'll never see it.

That's all that the algorithm needs to say that he likes or she likes this is what you're paying attention to it. Well, it was four, it was four seconds. I think her game dropped it because you're you're enough time to think about it.
